About our Patterns
Pattern Production Time
Many of our patterns are hand-printed to order, and typically ship within 1 to 2 weeks. During the April through October workshop season, production can take approximately 4 to 5 weeks before shipping. You’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information as soon as your order ships. If you need your pattern for a specific workshop or event, please include a note in your order. We’ll review whether expedited handling may be possible, but we can’t guarantee an exact shipping date.
Ok, it might have been a little ambitious to do for a first project, I had never picked up a rug hook in my life. The pattern was not exactly as pictured. There was flowers on the bowl and legs on the bowl that were a surprise but did them anyway. The peach color,shading was by far the hardest to do. I ended up using chenille which actually gave it some fuzzy texture. My friends at arts and crafts were surprised by what I accomplished on my own. At 71 you don't have time to waste, just jump in and do it. I am pretty happy with the results. The back is a mess, my fault, didn't know that you ended a piece on the top, so there are a lot of bits in back. No matter i will cover those sins with fabric.
Great job! You're right that sometimes the completed rug is different from the pattern template - it's up to the rug hooker to apply their creativity to the design! We often struggle when choosing between different completed versions, since many rug hookers modify the design their tastes and desires.
