Colorama Hand Dyed Wool - By Vivily Powers

Vivily Powers is a McGown accredited rug hooking instructor and owner of Colorama Wool. Her articles and hooked pieces have appeared in several publications. She instructs and vends at hook-ins, national conventions, chapters, rug schools in the US and in Canada.

Vivily is also an accomplished rug hooker. Below is Vivily’s version of Morris Victorian, a rug hooking pattern designed by Jane McGown Flynn.

Vivily is noted for her custom dyed wool and color planning expertise. She offers open and specialty classes and provides advanced planning and communication to the student in order to maximize class time. The ultimate goal for a class or program is for the student to go home with a well planned project and an enthusiasm for finishing the project. Vivily lives in Manchester, Connecticut.
