Rug hooking, like quilting, is both an art and a craft. Rugs are made by hooking strips of wool into a background (typically linen, rug warp or monks cloth), following a template or pattern. Colored wool is selected by the rug hooker, making each rug a unique and one-of-a-kind work of art. |
