This was a fun piece to hug and allowed your creativity run! I used a glitter yarn for the dragonflies body. Irredescent organza for the wings and water drops. Fun to do and it turned out to be a great gift for a friend.

New to rug hooking and this is a great piece.

I wanted to hook the horses as lifelike as possible. This was a real challenge with the dark background and the black horse. Directional hooking helped a lot.

My husband loves Christmas, so I thought this would be fun for him for "football season". He loves this rug and so do I.

Let’s try this again! I would have liked to see more finished patterns in the book. Too many drawn patterns. Especially for Kim Nixon, her color combinations are amazing. Even though I don’t follow, like to use as a guide. So interesting to see.

I did this fun pattern at the ATHA 2024 gathering with Cindy Irvin as teacher helping us incorporate beads, jewels, different fabrics and methods to make one-of-a-kind pieces.

Large, well printed design. Looking forward to hooking this piece. Will be a challenge to get wave forms looking great.
