This is a used, vintage Puritan Rug Hooking Frame. This photo is a sample image.
These frames are no longer manufactured. The frame is designed to serve both as a lap frame, or can easily be affixed to a stand. Because of the straightforward design, many rug hookers have created homemade stands for their frames.
